Automatic Manual Transmission is a semi-automatic transmission, where the key function is to automate the Manual Transmission. What does it mean? An AMT car is capable of automatically shifting gears basis the load on the engine. This transmission automatically senses the need for the vehicle and accordingly changes the gear without any manual intervention. This leaves the driver only with a brake and accelerator pedal to look after and does away with all the worries.
